I have held various positions, all under Education (K-8th grade): FIS-Families in Schools under the College Awareness Program, LA Audubon Society-Internship working with 3rd graders and 6th graders under an environmental studies program, Now a Team Leader training new interns as well as working with the students, LAs Best after school program as a program worker and science coach, Ellen Shane SAE mentoring program, as well as other tutoring positions. Hobbies
I am student who is interested in bettering education and the oppurtunities for our future generations. As soon as I graduated from high school my entire life has revolved around my education as well as the many positions I have held that have in a sense shaped my career. I am looking into gaining a Phd in Special Education at UCLA, and as of now want to travel the world and to change the life of at least one kid. I was not the top student in my early education years (regardless of my handwork) and I know that sometimes a student may be trying their hardest but an extra push or guiding hand can be very helpful, necessary and rewarding. I know for a fact that those who extended their hand to me influenced my great undergrad experience, which is what I aspire to do help, prepare and give the tools necessary to those who would let me.
