I graduated with honors from Cornell University in May 2008, with B.A. In English. My GPA was 3.67. I am part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and was put on the Dean's List for several semesters.
Experience
English/ Writing Qualifications: - I received a 5 on the AP English Exam - I scored 700 ( out of 800) on SAT I Verbal, and SAT II Writing Tests -I majored in English at Cornell University, where I was part of the English Honors program ( Some of my classes included Shakespeare, American Literature, Film Studies, Screenwriting and Creative Writing) Spanish Qualifications: -I tutored Spanish through a tutoring service at Cornell University in the fall of 2007. -I studied Spanish all throughout high school and college -**I studied for 6 months in Sevilla, Spain at La Universidad de Sevilla I would like to tutor, not only because I love teaching, and feel that I have a wide knowledge in the above-mentioned subjects, but I could be particularly helpful in teaching efficient work habits, study skills, and organization. For my entire academic career, I trained as a ballet dancer, giving me limited time to complete my schoolwork which forced me to develop organizational skills that would prove useful to any student.
