I received my B.S. Applied Mathematics and Statistics and Minor in Computer Science from Stony Brook University (Class of 2020, 3.91 GPA). I am Level 2 CRLA Certified and have also completed a course through the UCLA Extension School for music production.
Experience
I have more than 7 years of tutoring experience with all ages. I spent the past 3 years as a CRLA Level 2 certified tutor on my college campus, and I served the past 2.5 years as a lead tutor. Prior to that, I volunteered at my high school to tutor students in math, and I also tutored a handful of elementary school students privately. love being able to problem solve with students who are at different levels. Every session is an opportunity to learn more about a student and how they think, how they operate. I love to see a student overcome mental hurdles, unlock logical pathways, and grow a more solid base of knowledge. I am able to adjust my approach to any learner at any level, and I am always excited to be a part of and committed to every student's success. I have scored in the top 1% on the ACT, SAT Subject Tests, and standard SAT exam. I graduated from university Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics with a Minor in Computer Science. I also have experience tutoring students in elementary, middle, and high school, along with college students up through multi-variable calculus! My top subjects include all types of mathematics and programming in Python and Java, especially data structures and algorithms. I even completed an internship at Amazon last summer as a Software Development Engineer.
