Education

Utah State University - Bachelor in Arts, Communications and Journalism

Experience

I am a graduate of Utah State University. I am currently residing in Los Angeles, teaching both Spanish and ESL. I have been doing this for the past 8 years, teaching all ages, individually and in small groups. I take the time to get to know my students so that I can make learning the material correlate with their interests. Grammar is something that I love to teach, and I try to make my explanations as simple and uncomplicated as I can. I work to create a relaxing atmosphere that encourages my students to be the best they can be. I am available to tutor a number of different courses, including Spanish 1, 2, 3, and 4, ESL/ELL, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, and English, among others. I can also provide homework support and summer tutoring. In my free time, I like to listen to music, sing karaoke, eat out, and paint. If you need help in Spanish or English, and are looking for a teacher who will encourage you and work to build your confidence, give me a call.
