Experience
I am a native French speaker who grew up in Morocco. I also speak a form of Arabic, which is a Moroccan dialect that I learned while living there. I did, however, attend an American school starting in kindergarten. I moved to the United States about 18 years ago. Upon my arrival here, I realized that most Americans only speak English. I really would love to help students learn to speak French as I find it invaluable to be able to speak more than one language. I majored in 20th century European history and graduated from Yale University with my bachelor's degree. I am interested in English and history. However, after graduation, I ended up working in the film industry and have yet to put my degree to use. I have worked in many capacities including literary agent, talent agent, and following that I worked at a production company. After gaining that experience, I ended up starting my own production company about six years ago. I have spent that time developing about six film projects which are all in different stages of development. I am able to work with students in writing, reading, ESL/ELL, French, American, European, and world history, and English. Because of my experience, I am also able to work with students on writing and editing college essays and grammar and mechanics.In my spare time, I am generally doing something sports related. I have been involved in sports nearly all of my life, and currently enjoying playing basketball, golf, and soccer. You will find that I am laid back and I enjoy spending time and interacting with people.
