I recently finished my PhD in Neuroscience at UCLA, and would like to continue pursuing my passion for teaching. As a tutor in college, I helped students master difficult material in Biology and Chemistry. These students were typically getting C and D grades, but then with my help, started scoring A and B grades. It was so fulfilling to be a part of their success. During graduate school, I taught a junior level course in Neuroscience at UCLA. While teaching 50 students was challenging, it was also incredibly rewarding. My students reviewed my class as one of the best courses offered that year. As an undergraduate, my GPA was 3.85 and included the Pre-Med curriculum: Biology (Cellular, Molecular, Anatomy, Physiology, Ecology), Biochemistry, Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic), and Physics. In graduate school, my focus has been on Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience (GPA 3.77).
