In conjunction with serving as a Private Consultant to assist Charter Schools with updating their curriculum, I have worked as an Intervention Specialist providing students having the greatest learning challenges the extra one-on-one assistance needed to help them reach their maximum learning potential. About 3 years ago, I created the Little Smarties Tutoring Service to further aid students, both adolescent and adult, in need of extra assistance in their academic endeavors. I think it is imperative to understand that all students learn differently, so techniques will vary. It is important for students to grasp the major concepts behind the material. If you memorize something you can pass a test, but if you learn something, it will stay with you a lifetime. I have over 10 years of Tutoring experience and only hire qualified tutors with credible references and who are able to pass a background check.
