With my liberal arts and journalism background, I can help students craft essays that have style and voice while also being technically sound. I've had articles printed in campus, regional and national publications, and I believe I have a lot to offer a student who struggles with expressing themselves through writing. It's a skill that, once improved, will permeate the rest of their studies and their ability to articulate themselves in everyday life. I also scored 1480 on the SAT (750 math, 730 verbal) and can help students effectively study for the test. In my experience, many SAT prep centers simply grade practice tests rather than address test-taking skills or tricks that can appear on the test.
