I'm 19, originally from Ireland and India (Dad's Irish, Mom's Indian) but I grew up all over the place. I spent many years in India learning to play some Indian classical Instruments. When I was younger my parents tried to enter me into a piano class but I hated it because it was too technical. That class made music seem like a chore (which it absolutely isn't). I left the class and asked my father to teach me some basic chords on the guitar and went on from there. I traded my chores at home in exchange for simple guitar lessons and that helped me fall in love with music at my own pace. Now I study music at one of the best Music colleges in the country. My aim is to make people fall in love with music the way I did. Finding the balance between want you WANT to learn and what you NEED to learn.
