Education

I completed my high school diploma in June 2002 from Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, CA I attended Bryman College, where I got a diploma in Medical Assisting. I attended El Camino from 2006 to 2010, where I took general education courses. My end GPA was 3.04. I attended ITT Technical Institute from 2010 to 2012, where I studied Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology for 6 quarters. My end GPA was 3.96. I transferred to National University in 2012 and studied General Psychology. My end GPA was 3.492.

Experience

When I was going to ITT Tech, I helped a classmate get from an F to an A in her math class starting halfway through the quarter. At first, she had no confidence in herself in doing math, but at the end, she knew she had grasped how to do the work. Her A in her math class got her onto the Honor Roll; if looks could kill, her pride in herself would have resurrected the dead. That was one of the happiest days of my life so far. I have also tutored my neighbor's children. I would help them with their homework in reading, writing and math, and when they got stuck, I would help them figure out the solution. When they got it, I would praise them with phrases like, "See? You knew! You just didn't know you knew!"

Hobbies

I'm really into gaming. I mostly like RPG games like Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Civilization V, and so on. I watch a bit of TV. My favorite shows are Jeopardy, Once Upon a Time, and Scorpion. My science interest is widespread. I love everything from physics to chemistry to earth science and more. Anything about history is fascinating to me. World history, US history, Native American History, and Native Hawaiian history are my favorite history subjects. I read the news a lot because I'm really interested in current events, especially those around the world. I spend a lot of time on the computers. I'm especially interested in web and software development, and I'm even interested in getting a degree in both subjects.
