In my high school I took many college and honors classes including Biology, Spanish Literature and Language, and Calculus. I received A.P. scores of 4,5,5,and 2 respectively. I have been involved in many activities and clubs in my schools. In high school I was part of Science Bowl, a club that focused on learning various science subjects and math and then competing against other high schools. I was also was also part of various community service projects such as helping elementary students with their homework and tutoring high school students in various subjects. My need for a source of income made me decide to seek for a part time job where I could keep tutoring students and at the same time receive some money.

Hobbies

I'm a very friendly person and tend to communicate well with young people. I have always taken school very seriously and know how important it is to get good grades and receive a good education. I personally love helping students do good in school and well I believe that a tutor is not only supposed to deliver information to the student but is also suppose to show enthusiasm about the subject so that the student is motivated to learn the subject. In my two years tutoring students I came across all sorts of personalities, from those students who were willing to put some effort to those who really didn't want to do anything to succeed in school. This was a challenge for me but I found that as a young student I have the advantage of been listened to by other young people. This helped me tremendously in communicating more with students and explaining to them the importance of doing good in school. I truly believe that I have what it takes to tutor all sorts of students.
