Since I'm attending medical school, I love to tutor students in scientific classes involving the human body. However, I also enjoy tutoring students of all ages in biology and mathematics. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in 2013 with a focus on biological sciences, and I'm now at USC in my second year of training to become a doctor. While I was an undergrad, I tutored two children in middle school mathematics. I helped them with homework and studying for their tests. I found it very rewarding to watch them get better grades and improve their understanding of the subject. With those students, I learned patience and communication skills as an instructor. I also learned a little about being a good educator because my father was a high school mathematics teacher, and I watched him teach a very difficult discipline to his students. I want to help tutor students in mathematics and sciences, as well as standardized and college test preparation in science and mathematics. While I'm not teaching or learning my own subjects, I deeply enjoy traveling to new foreign countries, staying fit by running, and spending time at the beach.
