I began as a high school tutor and reprised the same role at the University of California Santa Barbara. I earned a bachelor's degree in Literature and have continued to tutor, connecting with students to ascertain and apply lessons to their different learning methods. I am very adept at helping my students write concise essays with a solid grasp of English and its nuances. My ability to adapt to changing situations shone while on staff at an open tutoring office, where I was able to assist students with a wide and dynamic array of subject matter. I also have extensive experience tutoring ESL/ELL students, as well as teaching a university workshop on developing style and voice.
