Experience
I hereby submit my resume and the following information about my skills and credentials: For the past 20 years, I have successfully educated primary and secondary students in: MS Office applications, all social science subjects, including AP US History, World History, Economics, Computer Education, all Social Science disciplines, and Reading Literacy. Although I have worked with app development and web page development in addition to teaching MS Office Suite on MAC and PC platforms, I chose to expand my teaching repertoire in science disciplines by applying to the California Teaching Credentialing unit in Sacramento for additional STEM certification. My current skills and credentials include a Clear California Credential in Business/Computer Education, Clear California Reading Credential, Clear California credential in Social Studies (NCLB) as well as CLAD for ELL learners. In addition, I served as a Team Administrator for the St. Petersburg University Biological Institute Summer ESL Program and as a Senior Program Coordinator at two Rutgers University grant funded programs. At Rutgers, I served as Senior Education Coordinator where I successfully placed credit deficient students at various schools and jobs in addition to guiding parents to free or low cost educational or medical resources, as well as college readiness assistance. As an educator and educational consultant I have continued to perform these duties up to the present day, including my academic tutoring services where students have increased at least one (1) grade level after thirty hours of tutoring. Integrating computer applications into core curricula subjects is a key component to my interdisciplinary teaching success. My four lifetime credentials in Elementary and secondary education from New Jersey, are complimented by my California Social Science NCLB certificate and an AP United States History Certificate. Three successful post-graduate Continuing Education UTLA courses in East Asian Studies enhanced my pedagogy and earned Ed. D. in Multicultural Education. It is for these abovementioned reasons: teaching experience, Lifetime New Jersey teaching credentials, Clear California credentials and graduate degrees (which are fueled by my inherent passion for teaching), I know that I am confident to successfully instruct students in many subject areas. In as much as my successful and extensive academic, classroom, and administrative experiences prepared me to strive for excellence as an educator, your serious consideration of these credentials as an excellent candidate for this position would be greatly appreciated. Therefore, I would appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate my capabilities to function as an effective educator for your organization.
