In my work as an educator, I'm successful because I love the mutual process of learning that comes with teaching. It's greatly rewarding to see a student improve, explore, and come to new understandings in a subject. I've been tutoring informally and formally for as long as I can recall. I like how challenging tutoring can be, and I revel in the ability to help students reach clarity. As an educator, I'm always having to develop new, innovative approaches to teaching the material, and, frequently, I need to push my own thinking. I have experience tutoring Algebra, Geometry, Elementary Mathematics, Middle School Mathematics, Biology, Writing, Psychology, Arithmetic, Earth Science, English, and Social Sciences. I can help students build better essay editing skills, study skills, and organization. I attended Lewis and Clark College, as well as the University of Southern California. I live in Los Angeles, CA. In my free time, I enjoy Math, puzzles, reading, running, teaching, school-related things, and kid-related things.
