UCLA - BA, Physics

Experience

Some of my most enjoyable moments in life have come from working with others, particularly kids, about how math and physics work. Because of this, I look forward to working with anyone looking for help in either physics or math. I am able to teach most math and physics topics, including algebra, calculus, geometry, and AP calculus and physics. I also feel comfortable tutoring reading, English, and writing.I feel that being an older student is of great benefit when I am teaching others, as I have a different perspective on life and dealing with the different personalities and needs that others have. I have an ability to break down a complicated topic and give it a simpler perspective that most students can better understand. I also believe that I am more responsible and organized than more conventional students.I am currently a fourth year student studying physics at UCLA with hopes of attaining my secondary teaching credentials next year at California State University-Northridge. I have also worked in the Atomic Molecular Optics Laboratory for a year on the UCLA campus. In my free time I like to write, record, and play music.
