Experience

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University. During my time at Georgetown, I studied Economics, English, and Filmmaking. My earliest teaching experience didn't come in a classroom--I began by teaching sailing when I was in high school. While I was at Georgetown, I taught standardized test preparation classes. In the process, I learned the importance of confidence when it comes to standardized testing success. Thorough preparation and extensive exposure to the question types and predictable pitfalls allow for significant improvement. My goal isn't just to get students through their standardized tests and help them achieve acceptable scores, but to enable them to score a victory we can celebrate. I assist students in their preparation for the ISEE, PSAT, SAT, and SSAT. In addition to standardized test preparation, I enjoy working with students to improve their writing skills and public speaking. I am a writer myself, retain my interest in filmmaking, and also like music, basketball, tennis, and chess.
