My teaching experience has mainly been through volunteering for mentoring and tutoring programs. I’ve worked as an after school program assistant at Sage Mentoring Program where I was in charge of supervising the 5th and 6th grade classes at a local elementary school in an after school art program. I have been a tutor at Oakland Asian Students Educational Services and a mentor for Women and Youth Supporting Each Other. I have been consistently rewarded for hard work with promotions and increased responsibilities. These rewards are a direct result of my expertise in administrative support, my commitment to personal and professional excellence, and my excellent written and oral communication skills.
Computer skills: programing (Matlab, Scheme) and drafting (AutoCad), technical document preparation (Microsoft Office, Excel, Dbase)
HobbiesI play the banjo and the piano.
My students will appreciate my intuitive skills and my ability to always make learning fun. I seek meaning in relationships, ideas, and events with an eye toward better understanding of themselves and others.
I am interested in graduate studies transgenerational epigenetics and bioethics. I desire a career in which I am able to promote human potential.
