Experience
I have tutored several students in a variety of subjects including reading, writing, elementary math, algebra and geometry. I work hard to understand my students specific struggles with the subject in which they require tutoring and provide assistance to help them overcome their struggles. Often times students do not simply need to review the content, but they also require study skills support or opportunities to gain confidence with the material. While earning my teaching credential at UCLA, I learned many strategies to work with students. Each of us learns differently and therefore we all require instruction that is best suited to our learning style. I try to be adaptive in my practice so my students are receiving instruction that is suited to the manner in which they learn.

Hobbies
I have two pets. My fat cat Zorro and my sweet Golden Retriever, Misha. I love to read and I will often read to my sister and my mother so we can all experience a great book together. When I am not reading, I can be found at UCLA football games-GO BRUINS!-or spending time with my family.
