Experience
All through out college I was a personal tutor for ESL students in English and Math. I was also a teachers assistant for Fine Arts at the San Carlos Charter school from 2010-11. I worked at Annandale Elementery School in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles as a English and Math tutor for second and third graders during 2012. This year I am working at Virgil Elementary School in Korea Town as an 8th grade tutor for English. I have 3 other younger siblings, which has influenced my love of working with kids. Being able to work one on one with students is extremely rewarding for me, for I know how difficult it is understanding curriculum in a big classroom, and how helpful personal attention for certain subjects can be. I am also CPR and First Aid qualified.

Hobbies
I come from a large family of 8, and (when Im not attending school) live with 3 other sibling, 2 uncles, parents and my grandmother. I enjoy keeping active, and have played a variety of sports ranging from; swimming, water polo, basketball, wrestling and tennis. I love to travel, and explore. That being said, my passions lie in more artistic fields. I am guilty of enjoying a good book any day over a TV show. I'll read a variety of books, ranging from science fiction to religion and romances. I love doing art, and when I have the time, I try to put in as many hours as I can in working with charcoal, pastel or oils. I am, overall, an artsy, quirky, understanding and out going individual.
