I have experience teaching music and theater to groups of 10-20 high school-age students, plus one year of teaching Piano to a middle school student. I scored 1990 on my SATs. I want to be a tutor because I really enjoy working with kids, I'm passionate about education and I believe that knowledge makes society stronger. Now that I have a college education, I believe I have a lot to offer to a middle or high school student, especially in liberal arts and the humanities. I believe that knowing how to write well is an essential part of self-expression and a key component to contributing to society in a meaningful way. I love the feeling of having helped someone understand something.
