My twins loved her. She's definately expensive but they loved her. Parking is a hassle but the office itself is really classy, really nice art work and books everywhere. The only thing I'd reccommend would be to have a tv outside for us poor parents, there wasn't anything to do. I think she helped them understand how serious their studies are and I really appreciate it. I think she helped them except that studying is an important part of life. We'll be getting more services from her. And I really like that she gave us a discount, without my asking, that was really nice. I would highly reccommend her.
Awesome. I contacted this lady last night. She responded in under an hour, and we scheduled an appt for late this morning/early afternoon. We met for an hour and a half and she only charged for an hour. She's flipping smart, funny and helped me organize my study schedule so that I could increase my work hours without letting my grades slip more. She also encouraged me to study in groups so I don't lose focus. I'm meeting with her two more times this week and then once a week after that. Awesome contact to have. She seems really honest too, she told me I didn't need to meet with her as often as I thought I did. Nice.
Wonderful Maggie! She helped my son do his UC applications and is helping me learn Spanish a couple days a week! Professional, courteous and keeps the most gorgeous office I've seen. It's like walking into a museum but it's not cold, it's warm. I also really like that if we need her to come over that she can. She needs a little notice but in the end she's flexible. Well worth the hourly rate. Highly, highly recommend!!
Expensive but good. I contacted her last night about doing my resume for a job interview I found out last minute I was going to have this morning. She did it good. There was a rush fee but it was ok. I needed it done fast. Good job editing and making me sound good at what I do. The whole thing was fast and quick and clean.
I have two comments to make. I should have done this before. First, Maggie just finished helping my kid brother finish his UC applications. They're due soon and after I worked with her so long, I felt comfortable sending her to my parents so she could work with him. She made him look great on paper, which is what these things are all about. He feels a lot better about his odds, and so do my parents about not having to pay for a private school, lol. Secondly, I've been working with her on and off this entire year. She is the best unquestionably. Assuming I give her my papers with a little notice, she won't charge a rush fee to edit but even when she does, my papers turn out perfect. She catches all my mistakes and has helped me improve my writing a great deal. While she is slightly expensive, I think it's a good investment. Alot of private companies charge you way too much for too little a service. She charges slightly above average and you get incredible bang for your buck. You can contact her through Facebook, Twitter, all sorts of ways. She's always around when you need her. Even though I've spent alot of my money from my job hiring her on and off, I would say it's definitely worth it. My gpa is up almost a half point. That's alot for me, especially given where I started. Besides it's better than spending it on trivial stuff. Basically I think she's worth it and recommended her to my brother. He also thought she was BOMB!! You get alot more than supplemental help, she helps you think straight. You get what you pay for basically.
EXCELLENT! She met with me in under 12 hours and we mapped out a schedule for my entire term. She's helping me with my papers in Government, Basic Econ, and Business Writing. I have every intention of contacting her after Christmas vacay when I start up again. She's awesome. It's definitely a financial commitment, but it's worth it. I'm not struggling all the time anymore. I'd rather have a little less money for stuff I want each month and increase the likelihood I'll graduate and get myself into grad school. And she's really accessible, too. She doesn't make you feel like you're dumb.
We really enjoyed Magda's professionalism while also being personable and made seemingly boring topics interesting. I cannot thank you enough for helping make learning fun again.
This week will be our third week working together and Maggie has helped me improve (a crap load) on one paper as well as helped me organize myself better. I wish I had met her when I was still in college. If I apply for a clerkship I'm going to ask her to do my resume. She's making law school just a little bit less miserable.
Stupendous! Funny! Focused! Experienced! Professional! The best I've come across after over a year of looking! And...her office is gorgeous. Museum-like.
She contacted me within minutes of my contacting her-which I really needed. She postponed something else to come talk to my daughter, who is having great difficulties transitioning into high school this year. We didn't do anything specifically in regards to her schoolwork but we talked about our goals and she left my daughter feeling a little less shaken. We agreed she'd come twice a week starting next week. It was worth the money. My daughter liked her. She hasn't responded this well to anyone in a while. If something changes than I'll post it, but right now she's looking like a Godsent.
I needed immediate help on a resume for a job application and contacted Maggie. She was able to accommodate my request very quickly and helped me edit and construct a very professional resume. Her edits and consultation gave me a much better sense of security in the job application I submitted, and much more confidence in the quality of my resume. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for writing assistance and professional development. To top it off, she’s got an amazing personality and a great sense of humor. I’m positive that I’ll be contacting her again whenever I'm in need of writing services.
I heard of Maggie through a friend. She tutored my son in English literature and even helped him with some basic Spanish becuase he's a first year who needed some help. She did great with him. It's hard to get his attention but she made him laugh. They were productive. Once we come home from vacation I think we'll be asking her if we can come at least once per week, possibly more depending on our budget. She's a little on the expensive side but he seemed to like her and she's obviously good with difficult kids.
She was ready for us when we came to her office (which was beautiful); she talked with us in depth about our goals, she told us what she needed from us, and she finally was able to get through to my son. A blessing. He changed in the course of 2 hours. I wish we could see her more than twice a week. We have a lot of catching up to do. Worth every dime.
Maggie is wonderful to work with! She is professional, timely, and so personable. She has come through for me when I have really needed her, time and time again. She is so dependable, which in my line of work is so important. I highly recommend her!
